- Qualifying Criteria:
- New cards issued during the campaign period only who pay regular full annual fee
- This campaign does not include Cardmembers who have an existing Card with us and subsequently cancel the card to re-apply for the participating cards (American Express Blue Card, American Express Gold Credit Card , American Express Gold Card and American Express Platinum Credit Card) during the offer period. The campaign is exclusively for new Cardmembers
- Cardmember needs to sign up for Membership Rewards membership.
- Only retail purchase spend (online and In-store purchases ) will be considered for qualifying spend
- Exclusions: transactions made outside the offer period, Cancelled, reversed, refunded, or disputed transactions, Cash withdrawals, STCPay and other digital wallet top-ups would not qualify for Membership Rewards points and no Membership Rewards would be credited for STCPay Transactions.
- Spend period to achieve minimum spend to qualify for 5X Membership Rewards points is 90 days from Card issuance date.
- Each account will be eligible for 2 free supplementary cards for life.
- Supplementary Card spends would also be considered in calculating the total spend.
- Given the Cardmember has qualified for the credit, the Card status must be normal. If a Cardmember has defaulted, he/she will not be eligible for the Membership Rewards bonus points.

- Membership Rewards Bonus points calculation:
- If you have not met the spend threshold, Membership Rewards points will be awarded on a 1-to-1 basis (1 MR for every 1 USD spent).
- Upon reaching the spend threshold, you will earn 5X Membership Rewards points on eligible purchases. Once the Membership Rewards points cap is reached, you will receive Membership Rewards points at the regular conversion rate of 1 MR to 1 USD.
- Only American Express Blue Card, American Express Gold Credit Card , American Express Gold Card and American Express Platinum Credit Card are included in this campaign.
- Regular Membership Rewards Points will be reflected in the next monthly statement of the Cardmember.
- The Membership Rewards bonus points will be reflected in the Cardmember statement of account after 120 days of Card issuance date.
- Membership Rewards Points calculation example:
For instance, if you hold a Blue Card and your minimum spend threshold is USD 1,000:
- Spending up to USD 999 will earn you 999 Membership Rewards points.
- Spending 1000 USD will earn you 5,000 Membership Rewards points.
- Spending 3000 USD will earn you a total of 15,000 Membership Rewards points
- Spending 11,000 USD will earn you a total of 51,000 Membership Rewards points (50,000 from the 5X bonus and an additional 1000 from regular calculations).
- The above mentioned offer is for individuals.
- The Annual Percentage Rate for American Express cards is as follows (40.61% for The American Express® Blue Card, 41.45% for The American Express® Platinum Credit Card, 41.53% for The American Express® Gold Credit Card).
- Non-Transferable: Offer cannot be transferred to other Cardmembers nor redeemed for cash.
- Membership Rewards points credited could be reversed anytime by American Express Saudia for all cancelled, refunded and reversed transactions
